Exhaust System

Exhaust System

An Exhaust system is a tubing system which consists of the parts of an engine through which burned gases or steam are discharged. It includes one or more exhaust pipes which help guide reaction exhaust gases away from a controlled combustion inside an engine. It takes very careful designing to carry toxic and/ or noxious gases away from the users of the machine.

Indoor generators can quickly fill an enclosed space with carbon monoxide or other poisonous exhaust gases if they are not properly vented to the outdoors. The gases from machinery can also be very hot, meaning that the pipe must be heat- resistant, and it must not pass through or near anything that could be burned or damaged by heat. It is very important to have an Exhaust System “tuned” in order to ensure optimal efficiency.
